First UK edition, first printing. Original brown cloth with silver titles to the spine, in the Richard Weaver illustrated dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the foot of the spine lightly bumped, the cloth very slightly waved at the bottom of the boards. The contents are clean throughout and without stamps or inscriptions, the closed text-block edge with slight spotting and dustiness. In the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased original dustwrapper which has a few tiny closed tears at the edges and is somewhat toned at the spine. Not price clipped (21s on the front flap, with a pencil strike through it).
