A near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the closed text block edge very lightly spotted, the contents clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the very lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper. Not price-clipped ($22 on the front flap). Scarce signed.

Signed by George Egon Hatvary in black ink on the title page. A fictional historical mystery which draws on the real life and times of Edgar Allan Poe.
