First edition. Two volumes. Publisher's original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine. A very good set with a little fading to the spines and bumping and minor fraying to the extremities. The hinges in both volumes are sound and all illustrations and tissue guards are present as called for. Minor spotting to the edges of some plates and a contemporary name in ink to each volume. No repairs or restoration. An attractive set.
