First editions, first printings. Three volumes. Original cloth, in dustwrappers. Very good copies, the bindings firm and clean, 'Regeneration' with faint fading to the cloth at the top edges and light bumping at the spine tips, 'The Eye in the Door' and 'The Ghost Road' with slight leaning to the spines. 'Regeneration' has very slight toning at the margins; 'The Eye in the Door' has a little light spotting to the closed text block edge and a few of the pages are a little creased at the edges; 'The Ghost Road' has a previous owner's inscription on the front free endpaper and a few pages have small creases. The unclipped dustwrappers are lightly rubbed and creased at the edges, remaining bright and without loss or tears.
An acclaimed series blending fact and fiction to explore the theme of trauma generated by the First World War, featuring historical figures such as the writers Seigfried Sassoon, Robert Graves and Wilfred Owen and the psychiatrist W. H. R. Rivers. 'The Ghost Road' won the 1995 Booker Prize.
