First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original dark brown cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Youngman Carter illustrated dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the text block edges somewhat spotted. The contents are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the near fine lightly rubbed and price-clipped dustwrapper which has a hint of toning to the spine.
