Illustrated throughout with 32 black and white plates (41 photographs and 1 frontispiece), 2 maps (1 fold out). A very good copy, the binding tight, with bumping and rubbing to the extremities. The contents, with a previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, a small bookseller's label to the rear, toning and foxing to the early and late pages, with occasional foxing throughout, are otherwise clean and free from inscriptions or stamps.
