EQUITY: A Course of Lectures.

Reprint. Original black cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, pale blue top-stain, in dustwrapper. A very fine copy, presenting as unread, the binding tight and square, the contents clean and without inscriptions or stamps. The very near fine dustwrapper is evenly faded to the spine (spreading a little to the rear panel). Not price-clipped (3.75 / 75s net to the front flap). A very nice copy. Scarce in hardcover.

Maitland lectured on equity at Cambridge for eighteen years. These lectures were originally published in 1909 and reissued with revisions by John Brunyate in 1936. This 1969 reprint was published as part of the 'Cambridge University Press Library Edition' and remains in print as a paperback.
