Limited edition, one of 50 copies printed on handmade paper. Publisher's original paper-covered boards. Page edges untrimmed. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with marking to the boards and chipping to the spine and corners. The contents with tanning to the endpapers, an attractive contemporary previous owner's bookplate for a G.P.W. of The Queen's 16th Lancers, and a contemporary ink gift inscription to the head of the title page accompanied by an unusual small photograph of a young women in the form of a postage stamp are otherwise clean throughout. An uncommon title.
