Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that is toned to the panel edges and spine. Not price-clipped (21s on the front flap).

An unusual collection of 'translations' by Robert Lowell of a wide range of poems originally written in a variety of languages other than English, which may be better thought of as creative interpretations, or as Lowell himself puts it, "versions and free translations". The poets featured range from Homer and Sappho to Rainer Maria Rilke and Boris Pasternak.
