A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with the ownership inscription of George Philp, a scholar of and advocate for the Scots language and Scots poetry, to the front free endpaper, the contents are otherwise clean throughout. The pages are toned as usual owing to the poor quality paper stock. Complete with the fine dustwrapper. Not price-clipped (£8.95 on the front flap). A nice association copy of the author's seventh collection.

Signed by Douglas Dunn in black ink on the title page, below which he has added his address. The Scottish poet's first collection following the Whitbread award winning "Elegies" (1985).
