A very good copy, the binding square and firm with a little toning to the spine. The contents with wrinkling to the front and rear pastedowns and minor toning to page edges are otherwise clean throughout and free from any previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Also included is a typed "Left Book Club Questionnaire" filled out in ink by Gillespie, providing biographical information, details of the creation of the present work, and a lively discussion of his past and present political views. The letter has a few creases and a 1 inch tear to the top, but is otherwise is in good, clean condition.
