THE FACTS ABOUT SARAWAK: A Documented Account of the Cession to Britain in 1946.

First edition, first printing. Publisher's original red cloth with white titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding tight and square with a little bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners and a touch of fading to the spine. The contents, with an inscription to the front free endpaper and a little spotting to the closed text block, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper, that has a short closed tear to the top of the rear panel, but is otherwise free from loss.

A study of Sarawaks social and political issues at the end of the Japanese occupation in 1945 and after the Third White Rajah, Vyner Brooke, ceded Sarawak to Britain. Written by Anthony Brooke who was himself Rajah Muda in 1939 and after the war supported Sarawak nationalists against British colonial rule.
