First edition with these illustrations. Signed limited edition. Publisher's original tan cloth with gilt titles on leather label to the spine. Top edge gilt. Printed on pure-rag paper. Illustrated with 36 woodcuts by Ethelbert White. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with some wear to the edges and chipping to the upper left of the spine label. The cloth is a little toned. The contents, with a previous owner's name to the font endpaper, a small stain to the upper edge of the front endpaper are spotted throughout.

Limited edition of 225 copies, this being copy number 68 and signed by Ethelbert White in blue ink on the limitation page.
