First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A lovely very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the spine tips a little pushed, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original dustwrapper that has a little rubbing to the fold corners and some dustiness to the rear panel, and is otherwise without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (16s net to the lower front flap).

The first edition in English, the first published edition being the Swedish translation published in Stockholm by P. A. Norstedt & Söners the previous year (Wobbe A41).
