First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with gilt lettering (slightly faded) and smoking gun to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, tight and square; the blue cloth shows some scattered white marks. The very good dustwrapper has a one inch tear at the top of the right fold at the head of the spine and some scattered minor rubbing. Not price-clipped; correctly priced (12s 6d net) to the front flap. A nice copy.
