First edition, first printing. Publisher's original quarter red cloth over red and black speckled cloth, lettered in gilt to the spine, in the Brian Russell designed dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with a little bumping to the spine tips, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that is a touch creased at the extremities and otherwise without fading, loss or tears. fine dustwrapper, a little toned to the spine and with a couple of marks to the upper spine fold and front panel. Not price-clipped (16s net to the front flap).
