First edition. With a T.L.S. and A.L.S. from the author. Publisher's original brown cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated in black and white throughout. A very good or better copy the binding square and firm with a little bumping at the spine tips. The contents with a little scuffing to the front pastedown are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Complete with lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper which has a short closed tear at the bottom edge of the front panel. Not price-clipped.

With two letters from the author, dated 1954 and 1958 loosely laid in, both concerning Cecchetti Method demonstrations.
