DEAD MAN'S FOLLY

First UK edition, first printing. Publisher's original red cloth with black titles to spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with some spotting to the endpapers and closed text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed and nicked, price-clipped dustwrapper that has a couple of short closed tears (secured to the underside with a piece of clear tape) and a small chip to the bottom right corner of the front panel. The rear panel is a little dusty and marked.

Featuring Hercule Poirot and his friend, crime fiction novelist Ariadne Oliver. (Hubin; Wagstaff & Poole; Curran, John: The Hooded Gunman).
