Third printing of the first edition. Signed by the author. Original black paper-covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a bump to the top edge of the upper board. The contents, lightly toned to the margins, are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the original dustwrapper which is very lightly rubbed and creased at the extremities. Not price-clipped (£14.99 on the front flap).
