Thirtieth Anniversary Edition. Signed by the author. Original full black leather with silver titles to the spine and upper board, in the Michael Fusco and Don Spiro illustrated dustwrapper. Housed in the original solander box. A near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the upper board with some very slight rubbing. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the fine original dustwrapper that is without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped ($65 on the front flap). The solander box has a faint white mark to the upper cover and some scuffing to the top edge of the rear cover.

Issued in a deluxe limited edition of 52 lettered copies, this example is lettered 'WW' and signed by Peter Straub in blue ink on the limitation page. Published to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first publication of Straub's August Derleth Award winning horror novel.
