Third edition. Swedish language. Orange cloth with a gilt illustration and titles to the upper board, in dustwrapper. Illustrated in colour throughout by Tove Jansson and Signe Hammarsten-Jansson. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine very slightly faded and with a few light marks, the bottom corners of the boards slightly bumped. The contents, lightly toned to the endpapers, are otherwise clean and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed, chipped and torn dustwrapper that has some mild dampstaining and a single word in ink to the front panel. Scarce.

A beautiful baby book, with spaces for the baby's traits and milestones to be recorded by the parents. First published in 1937, this was one of Tove Jansson's earliest illustration commissions, shared with her mother Signe Hammarsten-Jansson, who was also an artist and designer.
