LORD EDGWARE DIES

First edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with titles in black to the upper board and spine. Lacking the rare dustwrapper. A good or better copy, the binding square and firm with bumping and minor fraying at the spine tips and corners. The cloth is a little marked and somewhat darkened to the spine. The contents are foxed throughout and with the odd finger mark to the margins. There are no inscriptions or stamps.

Featuring Hercule Poirot, Arthur Hastings and Chief Inspector Japp. The first edition was published in the UK in September 1933, the American edition followed later the same year under the title 'Thirteen at Dinner'. (Hubin; Wagstaff & Poole; Curran, John: The Hooded Gunman).
