Limited edition, one of 26 lettered copies. Signed by the author. Publisher's original dark brown faux 'leather' with gilt titles to the spine, in the G. F. Watts illustrated dustwrapper. Brown leather solander box with titles in red and pink. A fine copy, the binding square and tight, the contents clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the fine dustwrapper that is without fading, loss or tears. Housed in the near fine, very lightly rubbed tray case that has a small scuff to the bottom of the upper cover.

Issued in a limited edition of 26 lettered copies, this example is lettered 'D' and signed by Dan Simmons in black ink on the limitation page. There was also an edition of 250 numbered copies. A collection of five novellas, first published in 1993. The stories include 'Entropy's Bed at Midnight'; 'Dying in Bankok'; 'Sleeping with Teeth Women'; 'Flashback' (later expanded into a novel); 'The Great Lover'.
