MISS AMERICA

Early reprint. Inscribed by the author. Green crocodile-textured cloth with a marbled paper panel to the upper and lower boards, and a red panel bearing the title in gilt to the spine. With an illustration preceding the half title, which is likely to be the front panel of the dustwrapper bound into the book. French language. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the text block foxed. The contents, with some spotting particularly to the prelims and the '1907' on the title page changed to '1908' (possibly by the author), are otherwise clean throughout.

Inscribed by the author in red ink on the half-title. Provenance: from the library of Martin Stone.
