First edition, first printing. Publisher's original light brown cloth with black titles to the spine and a black space-scape illustration to the upper board. In dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with lovely, very 1950s line drawings by I. Maher. A better than very good or near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the extremities slightly rubbed. The toned contents are clean throughout and free of inscriptions and stamps. Complete with the very good, bright and unfaded illustrated dustwrapper which has some small closed tears to the spine tips and is a little rubbed to the extremities. Not price clipped, with a repricing label over the original price. Uncommon.
