THE DOORS OF HIS FACE, THE LAMPS OF HIS MOUTH AND OTHER STORIES

First UK edition, first printing. Original yellow cloth with black titles to the spine, in the Dennis Leigh illustrated dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the foot of the spine and the top corners of the boards very slightly bumped. There is some faint spotting to the endpapers and a little spotting to the closed text-block edge, the contents are otherwise clean and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original dustwrapper that is lightly rubbed to the extremities and without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£2.25 on the front flap).

An early collection of 15 of the award-winning author's short science fiction stories. The title story won the 1966 Nebula Award for Best Novellete, and was nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Short Fiction.
