First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine, in the (unattributed) Osbert Lancaster illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, with a tiny nick and crease (production fault) to the bottom corner of title page, are clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the very lightly rubbed, laminated dustwrapper that remains without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (26s. / £1.30 to the front flap).
