First UK edition and first hardcover edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original blue cloth with silver titles to the spine, in the Dave Sumner illustrated dustwrapper. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm with very slight bumping to the spine tips and the bottom corner of the upper board. There is some light spotting to the closed text-block edge and prelims and a faint mark to a few margins, the contents are otherwise clean and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the lightly rubbed original dustwrapper which is a little faded to the spine. Priced with a publisher's label to the front flap (£3.25).
