THE WAYFARING TREE

First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with silver titles the spine and a design in silver to the upper board, in dustwrapper. Top edge blue. Illustrated throughout in black and white by Watkins-Pitchford. A very good copy, the binding with a very small crack to the paper at the front inner hinge nevertheless remains firm, the upper board ever so slightly bowed, the board edges a touch rubbed. The contents, with faint spotting to the text block edges, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original nicked and rubbed pictorial dustwrapper which has a few short closed tears to the edges, and has three pieces of tape to the underside. Not price-clipped.
