The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that has a small nick to the top edge of the rear flap fold. Not price-clipped (£7.95 to the front flap). Housed in the original illustrated slipcase which is a touch faded at the backstrip.
This beautiful edition of 'The Wind in the Willows' is evocatively illustrated by John Burningham, the first illustrator to win the Kate Greenaway Medal twice.
