Seventh printing of the first deluxe Indian paper edition. Original black cloth boards with gilt and green illustration to the upper board and gilt titles to the spine, in the original glassine dustwrapper. Housed in the original black card box. Green speckled edges. There are two folding maps, one tipped in at the centre and the other at the rear. A lovely near fine copy, the binding square, firm and bright. The contents are clean and fresh throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps. Both folding maps are present as called for and in fine condition. The box has minor wear at the edges. The rear flap of the plain glassine is creased and there is a small closed tear at the foot of the rear flap fold. A lovely example.
