Third printing of the second edition (the first revised edition). Three volumes. Publisher's original red cloth with gilt titles to the spines, in dustwrappers. Top edges red. Fold out map to the rear of each volume. A near fine set, the bindings square and firm, with rubbing and a little bumping to the spine ends and corners. The red top edge is bright. The contents, with a small white label to the top corner of the front free endpaper of each volume, are otherwise clean throughout. The maps are in fine condition and without tears. Complete with the original and correct lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrappers, that are a touch toned to the edges of the rear panel and spine, and otherwise without loss or tears. Not price-clipped (25s net to the lower front flaps).
