Second separate UK edition. Original white cloth with gilt medallion to upper board and titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with 15 full-page colour plates by F. H. Townsend. An excellent very good or better copy, the cloth very lightly spotted, the contents without inscriptions or stamps but with foxing to the margins. Complete with the original rubbed, nicked and darkened dustwrapper.

Although unstated as such, this is the second separate edition. Printed on wove paper it bulks much thicker than the first printing, and has the corrected "Bemrose and Sons Ltd" imprint to page 80. The dustwrapper design also differs to that of the first printing.
