First hardcover edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Limited edition. Original grey imitation leather with titles and decorations in blue foil and black to the spine and upper board. Illustrated throughout by Leslie Newcomer. A very near fine copy, the binding square and tight, the upper board with some very small marks are otherwise bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Scarce.

Issued in a limited edition of 800 copies, 750 of which were offered for sale, this example is numbered 292 and signed by Megan Lindholm, Elizabeth Ann Scarborough and the illustrator Leslie Newcomer in black ink on the limitation page. Lindholm is best known the 'Farseer' series written under the pen name Robin Hobb. 'Wizard of the Pigeons' was first published in 1986 as a paperback original by Ace Books, and is often described as a precursor to the urban fantasy genre.
