An original artwork by Michael Foreman for pages 24-25 of Michael Morpurgo's 2010 novel Not Bad for a Bad Lad. Watercolour and pencil. Mounted and framed. Signed and inscribed 'Bad Lad', according to the Chris Beetles Gallery label on the reverse. The painting measures 38.9 x 24.7cm, while the frame measures 59.4 x 43.8cm. Foreman has used cool tones to skilfully create a wonderfully atmospheric, moonlit scene showing a boy sneaking into a greenhouse to steal tomatoes.
