Issued in a limited edition of just 100 copies, for subscribers only, so marked 'sub' and signed in black ink by James Hannah on the limitation page. King's short story was first published in 1977 in the March / April issue of Maine Magazine. In book form it was included in the 1978 collection 'Night Shift'. This limited edition is the first illustrated edition, and first separate edition in book form.
