A very good copy, the board rubbed and worn to the corners, the contents faintly spotted to the endpapers otherwise clean and bright throughout.
One of 3000 copies. Later issue, this copy bound in 1947 and inscribed by Henry Miller on the front free endpaper "From Henry Miller / Big Sur / 4.20.50 / to Hugo or his friend / for whomever - / greetings - salut! / "Le cacodaimon" / H.M." The recipient is Hugo Manning (1913-1977) correspondent of many writers including Henry Miller, Nancy Cunard, Ezra Pound and T. S. Eliot.
