First edition. Inscribed presentation copy. Publisher's original red cloth with titles in gilt to the upper board and spine. A very good copy, the binding square and firm with some fading and bumping to the spine. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps.

Inscribed by the author [in 1930] in black ink on the half title "Maurice Chevalier / with sincere appreciation / from / the author / W. Walter Crotch [underlined]". Provenance: from the library of Martin Stone.
