Second printing. Inscribed by the author. Publisher's original blue paper covered boards with green titles and red decorations to the upper board. With an in depth introduction from the editor. A very good copy, the boards toned to the edges with some chipping to the spine. The toned contents are clean throughout.
Inscribed by the editor on the front free endpaper in black ink. Patmore was a writer and journalist, who worked as a war correspondant in the Balkans and in the Middle East. He was the great grandson of the poet Coventry Patmore. Provenance: from the library of Martin Stone.
