First edition, first printing. The publisher's retained copy. Original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. With 16 pages of photographic illustrations by the author. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, the contents spotted to the text block edges and with the publisher's "Archive Copy" stamp to the title page and front pastedown are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the original dustwrapper which is a little nicked and creased at the spine tips and fold corners and with the publisher's "File Copy" stamp on the upper panel. Scarce in dustwrapper.
