First edition, first printing. Publisher's original burgundy cloth and gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with a frontispiece and 13 black and white photographs. A better than very good copy, the binding firm and square, with a little bumping to the spine ends and slight bow to the rear board. The contents, with a small bookseller's sticker to the front pastedown and some foxing to the closed text block, are otherwise clean throughout and free from inscriptions. Complete with the rubbed, creased, nicked and lightly toned dustwrapper, that has a few short closed tears to the front panel. Price clipped to the front flap.
